ABOUT ME
HI, I'M ANGELA

I am a 31 year old contemporary artist who lives in the heart of western Canada, where the beautiful landscapes and wildlife are my biggest sources of inspiration. My days are filled with creating art with my 3 year old daughter in my home studio and finding inspiration together exploring the beautiful landscapes that surround us.
Born and raised in British Columbia until I was eleven, and then moving to Alberta, I’ve always felt that my heart belongs to both provinces. I travel frequently between the two, finding endless beauty in the mountains, forests, and animals that call them home. These places, and the wildlife within them, are reflected in much of my artwork.
From a young age, I discovered a love for creating. I’m completely self-taught, and I’ve been selling my work since I was just fifteen. Over the years, I’ve experimented with many forms of art—acrylic paintings, pencil and pastel drawings, murals, ornaments, pet portraits, and even painting on unique surfaces like saw blades and animal skulls. I also spent about a decade as a tattoo artist, which gave me the opportunity to bring people’s stories and passions to life in a very personal way. I feel truly grateful that I’ve been able to follow this path; for me, it’s more than a career—it’s who I am.

I believe that surrounding yourself with art has a powerful impact on the mind and soul. Art isn’t just decoration—it’s a presence. It can lift your mood, spark inspiration, or create a sense of peace in your home. To me, living with art is about connection: connection to nature, to loved ones, and to something bigger than ourselves. My hope is that the work I create carries that energy into the lives and spaces of the people who collect it.
